Martin’s Properties Charity Walk: 10km for Ovarian Cancer

On 6^th September 2023 the Martin’s Properties team set out on a 10km walk across London, to raise awareness for Ovacome Charity. Ovacome is a charity dedicated to supporting women who have experienced or are currently experiencing ovarian cancer.

Each year the team chooses a charity to support. This year Martin’s Properties chose Ovacome due to  a personal connection to the charity, with our Property Adminstrator Manager, Danielle’s mother having recently been diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. This gave the team additional motivation to complete the walk – despite scorching temperatures on the day of +32^o. Lots of water and team spirit helped us complete the 10km walk in 2.5 hours.

Thank you to all of our friends, family and business partners who donated to this cause. We set an ambitious target to raise £5,000 and managed to beat it.
