Martin’s Properties, a leading property investment and development company based in Central London, operating throughout the South of England, has today announced the appointment of David Brown as Finance Director and Asif Khan as Financial Controller. Established as a family business in 1946 the company has grown to become one of the largest property portfolio owners in Kensington and Chelsea and has continued to expand its portfolio across London and the South East.
David Brown joins with broad experience in corporate and operational finance, most recently as Group Finance Director at Bonhill Group plc. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer of Market Tech and Corporate Finance Director at Greene King plc. David’s role will be to lead the strategic finance function of Martin’s Properties and its subsidiary businesses. David qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and holds a Computer Science degree from Christ’s College, Cambridge.
Asif Khan joins from Imperial Portfolio where he was Head of Finance. Prior to that he has held senior finance positions at Mapeley Estates, Essential Living Management, Cable & Wireless Plc and Sainsbury’s.
