Obsidian Strategic is a joint venture business between Martin’s Properties and Black Onyx.
Obsidian Strategic searches for strategic sites and development opportunities where we can obtain an enhanced residential-led planning consent. Our main areas of focus are London and the Home Counties, although opportunities outside of these areas are considered.
Obsidian Strategic has the financial capacity to purchase sites via any format that best suits the landowner, and we work closely with landowners to create a deal that is tailored and suited to each individual site. This can be through a conditional purchase, subject to planning, option agreement or promotion agreement or a combination of the above. If a site is promoted with the landowner, Obsidian Strategic can fund the full cost of obtaining the planning consent required.
We are therefore looking for any sites without a prior planning consent or with the capability to greatly enhance the planning consent that have a minimum GDV of £10m.
